Having Hidradenitis Suppurativa means that there are even more restrictions for me on Autoimmune Protocol. This list by no means applies to everyone with an Autoimmune Disorder. It may not even apply to others who have Hidradenitis Suppurativa because we all are at different stages of the disease and differ in general. This is a list of things that I personally have reactions to and must avoid while being on Autoimmune Protocol.

Nightshades Fruits: Goji Berries, Starfruit, Cape Gooseberries, Huckleberries, Tamarillos, and Ashwaganda.
Nightshade Vegetables: ALL Peppers, White potatoes, Tomatoes, Eggplants, Tomatillos, and Naranjillas
Nightshade Seasonings: Paprika
Processed Additives: Artificial and “Natural” food color, Emulsifiers (Carrageenan, Cellulose Gum, Guar Gum, Lecithin, Xanthan Gum), Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Monosodium Glutamate, Nitrates or Nitrites (Unnaturally Occurred), Olestra, Phosphoric Acid, Propylene glycol, Textured Vegetable Protein, Trans Fat (Partially Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil).

Processed Vegetable Oils: Canola Oil/Rapeseed Oil, Corn Oil, Cottonseed Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Peanut Oil, Safflower Oil, Sunflower Oil, and Soybean Oil.
Legumes: ALL Beans including Cocoa and Coffee beans. Peanuts, Peas, and Soybeans (including Edamame, Tofu, Tempeh, other soy products, and soy isolates, such as soy lecithin)
Grains: ALL Rice and Wheat, Barley, Corn, Durum, Kamut, Millet, Oats, Rye, Sorghum, and Spelt.
Pseudo-Grains: Amaranth, Buckwheat, Chia, and Quinoa.
